Our chef de cuisine Alfred is a loving and passionate member of our staff. Thanks to his innovative ideas and his many years of experience he creates unique dishes every day. Furthermore, he holds a diploma in dietary cuisine. Traditional South Tyrolean dishes from light natural cuisine, Mediterranean specialties with home-made pasta dishes and genuine Tyrolean cuisine are a guarantee for the highest quality on your plate every day.
The herbs and the good taste come directly from our garden and refine each dish with intensive and delicious notes. Alfreds' passions are edible flowers and herbs, which he brings to the kitchen every morning from his cycling tours. Again and again gourmets and connoisseurs praise his skills.
In the morning our guests enjoy organic bread from a bakery from the Ultental Valley. Also on the buffet are fruity jams, butter and honey from South Tyrol, bacon from the butchers' from Völlan, sausage and cheese specialties, and fruit juices, yoghurt, a freshly prepared fruit salad, healthy milk from South Tyrol, and a great selection of cereals in the organic food corner. Crunchy apples from Lana are at your disposal every day too.
On Sundays we start the day with a glass of Prosecco. During the summer months, breakfast and dinner are served on the panoramic terrace, and here in Lana summer usually lasts longer than anywhere else.
Twice a week we spoil you with culinary highlights: on one day you can join us on a culinary round tour of Italy, on the other you can taste South Tyrolean dishes or the best of meat from our barbeque.
On Fridays you can enjoy an aperitif during the reception with sommelier Irmgard Windegger from the Bio-vineyard Zollweghof, and afterwards you will be spoiled with our delicious gala dinner, a real culinary highlight. Vegetarian guests and those suffering from food intolerances will be spoiled with tasty dishes to cater for their needs.
