The beautiful market town Lana is located in the immediate vicinity of the spa town of Meran. The village is a combination of rural charm and the functionality of a small city. Public transport between Lana and Meran (bus no. 211) operates every 15 minutes. Enjoy the ride through the idyllic villages Tscherms and Marling, which are characterised by family homes and beautiful orchards. The landscape is characterised by wide orchards and vineyards.

Life in the village of Lana is busiest during the summer months. The comfortable climate in this valley basin makes guests and locals want to spend their time outdoors. The harbour Völlan, which is a climatic health resort, is located above Lana. In Völlan you can walk along beautiful hiking trails leading through splendid forests and lush meadows.

However, also culture-lovers can find something to visit in Lana and surroundings. About 30 churches tell a remarkable history dating back to 900 A.C. Definitely worth seeing is the Schnatterbeck altar in Niederlana. The beautiful gilded wing altar is supposed to be the biggest in the entire Alpine region and definitely worth a visit. If you want to know more about Lana and its cultural treasures, we are pleased to give valuable advice. Especially senior host Irene Herz is an expert in this field.
